Recent Research in Epigraphy and Social History of Roman Southern Liburnia
Ancient Liburnia is one of the most Romanized parts of the province of Dalmatia, and as such is one of its regions richest in the epigraphic monuments, being second only to the area of the provincial capital Salona. In recent years some very remarkable inscriptions came to light (such as the inscription of Faustina Augusta III), which will be presented in this paper, the same as recent research in topics from social history (such as position of women in Liburnian society).
